Dr. Ricki Southwick from NIST (Gaithersburg, MD), a former student in the group, presented a poster at the IEEE International Integrated Reliability Workshop (www.iirw.org) in Fallen Leaf Lake, CA, that was held during the week of October 17th through the 21st, 2010. His poster was titled “Interactive Simulation Program for Complex Multilayer Dielectric Devices.” Co-authors on the poster include Aaron Sup, a special lecturer in the Department of Physics, Professor Amit Jain and graduate student Mike Baker, both from the Department of Computer Science, and Professor Bill Knowlton from the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. Dr. Southwick also Chaired the Discussion and Special Interest Groups and was the acting AV Chair and Prof. Knowlton Chaired the Poster Session and the session on Photovoltaics.
