Micron Technology Inc. has donated the largest gift in Boise State history, $13M, to start a PhD program in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (see link below). Micron also donated $2M to start the Department of Materials Science & Engineering in 2004 and $5M to start a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 2006.
